A community partnership between Forsyth Humane Society and Forsyth County Animal Shelter
No one should have to choose between feeding their family and feeding their pet.
This holiday season, many families across Forsyth County are feeling the impact of changes to SNAP benefits. Together, we can make sure families stay whole and pets stay home: safe, fed, and loved.A huge thank you to every one of our incredible volunteers who showed up to help distribute pet food, and to our generous donors and supporters who make this work possible. Because of you, we were able to share several thousand pounds of pet food with families in need and provide information about additional community resources.
The work doesn’t stop with one distribution — we’ll be continuing this campaign throughout the entire holiday season. Forsyth Humane Society and the Forsyth County Animal Shelter remain committed to this partnership to help keep pets out of the shelter and in their homes, where they belong.
Stay tuned — we’ll be announcing our next December distribution date soon!
Any remaining food from the drive will be dispersed to community food pantries so that the support continues.
Thank you for showing true Compassion in Action!
