As of January 2018 we are a contracted partner with Forsyth County, taking over the intake, care, and adoptions of shelter dogs and cats at Forsyth County Animal Services. We are the only open admission shelter in Forsyth County, NC – meaning we take in all homeless pets. We must assess every animal behaviorally (to make sure they’re safe to send into a home/community), medically, and sadly, occasionally, we must euthanize for space. Our goal is to increase the save rate of shelter dogs and cats to 90% by 2023. You can help us get to 90% by volunteering, fostering, donating, and spreading the word about each, and the importance of spaying/neutering!
